At 1.30a.m. the enemy raided an outpost held by “A’ Company of this unit. His party consisting of about thirty men was completely repulsed. We suffered the following casualties, Killed in Action, 5065813 Private J.R.Monde and 3320447 Private J.R.Gray, Wounded, 6 other ranks. Gas was projected by our engineers at 2.30a.m.
