Two companies moved forward in support of 8th Battalion at 10.00a.m. Remainder of companies and Battalion Headquarters moved forward to Queaing at 3.00p.m. Casualties: one other rank wounded. Weather dull.
It rained steadily all day and the Battalions rested in billets. A concert was given in the afternoon by the Battalion brass band which was largely attended by all ranks. At 2300 hours a move order was received from the 4th Brigade for the 21st Canadian Battalion to proceed forward to St. Sailve.
Lectures and indoor Lewis gun training carried on during the forenoon. Lieut.V.T.Hewer procced on 14 days leave to U.K. Weather: Raining.
