Orders were received in the course of the night that the 1st and 4th Battalions would resume the pursuit, passing through the 2nd and 3rd Battalions. Shortly after 0900 hours the outpost line was withdrawn from the Battalion, which was to be in Reserve, formed up on the road near Hiverchers Farm. The road from there to Urnay Farm was blocked at the road junction leading to Warlaing, moreover the advance was being stubbornly resisted. In view of these circumstances the Battalion was distributed, as a temporary measure, in the neighboring farm. With Battalion Hqrs in Uruny Farm. Transport and Rear Details left Pecquencourt at 0930 hours arriving at Windgnies at 1230 hours. Weather: Showery.
