Commemorating D-Day and the Second World War

“The City of Brockville’s identity is intertwined with that of the Brockville Rifles. Offering our community a chance to recognize and appreciate the history of “the Brocks” in a public place like the Brockville Museum is an honour.”
Brockville Mayor Jason Baker

Temporary museum display commemorating soldiers of D-Day and the Second World War, now at the Brockville Museum.

The Brockville Rifles’ Regimental Museum is pleased to have partnered with the Brockville Museum to have a display of some of artifacts dedicated to the local soldiers who served during the Second World War and D-Day.

The Brockville Rifles Regimental Museum is privileged to have a dedicated team of volunteers who are able to display a multitude of artifacts that engage members of the community by highlighting the current and past sacrifices of their fellow citizens.  This latest exhibition, at the Brockville City Museum, highlights the dramatic impact on individuals when our country is committed to battle.  The warm reception our citizens provide at each display is a testament to the fact that our military is remembered.
