In the afternoon the battalion moved to Beaurains where companies and sections were bivouacked. Lieut J.B.Billie, proceeded on this date to 2nd Divisional Wing, C.C.R.C for duty. Routine Orders announced the award of the Military Medal to 32328 Corporal J.Jordan, Corporal Jordan, an original muster of the battalion, who is attached to the 4th Canadian Trench Mortar Battery was congratulated by his many friends of the Battalion.
The Battalion was in reserve for the Brigade. The Battalion was under immediate call, but moved forward from bivouac at 5.15a.m. and marched to Cherisy – the vicinity of which was being heavily shelled during passing.
